Your First Visit: What to Expect
Welcome to Namu Dental Care
The moment you walk through our doors, you'll be greeted by name. We’ll take a few minutes to update your records and answer any questions you may have before the dental assistant calls you back.
Getting Started
After taking X-rays, you’ll meet directly with Dr. Dafo or Dr. Miles for a full exam. You'll see what they see – on a screen, explained in plain language. Then, the doctor will get to know you more: What's bothering you? What are you hoping for? What are you worried about? If it matters to you, we want to hear it.
No Pressure Care
After getting to know more about your situation, we’ll talk through your options, answer your questions, and make a plan that works for you. If everything looks good and you're ready, we can often do your cleaning the same day. If you need time to think about other forms of treatment, that's okay, too. You're in charge here.
Make Your First Visit Even Easier!
Fill out your new patient paperwork online before your first appointment. It only takes about 10 minutes, and means less time writing on a clipboard in the lobby.
Prefer paper? No problem. Just arrive 15 minutes before your appointment time and we'll have everything ready for you.

The New Patient Registration Form collects essential information about your child, including personal details, contact information, and dental history. This helps us understand your child's needs and provide personalized care.
Notice Of Privacy Practices
To ensure the best care for your child, we require a signed authorization form that allows our medical and dental team to provide necessary treatments. This form covers essential diagnostic procedures, examinations, and treatments.

Consent Form for General Treatment: First & Recall Visits
To provide your child with the best possible care during both their first visit and subsequent recall visits, we ask that you complete our General Treatment Consent Form. This form authorizes our team to perform standard dental procedures, including examinations, cleanings, and preventive treatments, as needed.

When you schedule your first visit with Namu Dental Care, you’ll get a comprehensive exam with Dr. Dafo or Dr. Miles, a full set of X-rays, and professional cleaning (if applicable). We make it easy for new patients to get started, whether it’s been six months or six years since your last dental exam. No judgment, no pressure.
